Meet the Team

MoneyFit is created by a team of financial wellbeing, creative and education experts passionate about helping people improve their financial wellbeing through engaging user-friendly technology. Our mission is to make financial wellbeing accessible to all, and to increase peoples’ confidence, control, and capacity with their personal finances.


Francis is the Founder of MoneyFit and has over 25 years’ experience developing innovative employee engagement technology. Francis was formerly Director of People Experience at Gallagher, and was responsible for the development of Financial Wellbeing strategy and solutions. Prior to this, Francis was on the Board of an award-winning pensions engagement and communications consultancy. Francis is a member of the Pensions Dashboard Steering Group, a Department of Work and Pensions project, and on the advisory Board of Engage for Success, the UK’s employee engagement task force. Francis holds a degree in Law, and is a keen rower and scuba diver.

Dr. John Hoffmire

Dr. John Hoffmire is Financial Wellbeing Advisor for MoneyFit. He is a Research Associate at Kellogg College, Oxford University and Chair of the Personal Finance Employee Education Fund. John co-developed the Personal Financial Wellness Survey, an academically scrutinised financial wellbeing measurement tool used by organisations around the world. John has a twenty-year career in equity investing, venture capital, consulting and investment banking. As one of the world's leading experts on Employee Stock Ownership (ESO), he has helped employees buy and manage approximately $2.2 billion worth of ESO Stock. John holds a PhD from Stanford University and a BA from the University of California.


Matt is Technical Lead on the digital design and build of MoneyFit. He is the Co-Founder and Director of Rolley, a leading web development agency that builds game-changing web solutions. Matt has many years’ experience developing innovative financial education technology, including complex pensions modelling tools and employee benefit engagement technology. Matt holds a BSc in Computer Science and his other roles include Business Owner, Chief Biscuit Taster and Dad.


Jane leads on Client Success for MoneyFit, helping ensure that all implementations run smoothly and deliver measurable results. Jane has over 25 years’ operational and client success experience in the financial wellbeing and engagement sector, and was formerly the Operations Director for the Communications practice at Gallagher with a focus on pension and benefit communications. Jane is founder of an operational excellence consultancy, Snowdrops Consulting, and has worked with clients including Asda, Barclays, British Airways, Lloyds Banking Group and Unilever. Jane holds a BSc in Economics and is a voluntary Trustee for the Inspire Partnership Multi-Academy Trust supporting primary schools across Yorkshire.


Dan leads on the Operational Delivery of the MoneyFit solution and is Director and Chief Operations Officer at Rolley, a leading web development agency that builds game-changing web solutions. Dan has many year’s operational experience in the delivery of digital tools, bespoke web builds, AR/VR experiences and gaming solutions. Previous roles include Senior Communications Consultant at Gallagher, where he led on the delivery of financial wellbeing, pension and benefit communication projects for brands including Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays and BP. Dan holds a first-class BA in English Language Studies and in his spare time enjoys hiking and watching live music.


Olivia is the Creative Lead for MoneyFit and responsible for the MoneyFit brand and creative treatment across all channels. Olivia is founder and MD of Spotted Dog Graphic Communications and has over 20 year’s experience in brand development, creative design and artworking. Olivia has a diversity of direct client and agency experience, including brand development, packaging design, visualisation, print and web design and retail interiors for pop-up-shops. Olivia holds a Diploma (Distinction) in Graphic Design and enjoys horse riding, running, painting and training her dog Mabel.


Elli is the Content Quality Lead for MoneyFit, helping to ensure that all content across the site is accurate and clear. Elli is a former school teacher of Art and Drama, and now uses her skills in drama and the arts to run a child therapy practice in schools. Elli enjoys crosswords, jigsaw puzzles, reading and art, and holds a BA Hons in Drama and American Studies.

Marco Turrent

Marco is an FCA approved Financial Advisor, Director of Journey Invest and workplace financial education specialist. He has over 20 years’ experience of financial advice and leads the Financial Education practice at Cognacity, a leading provider of mental health and wellbeing services. Marco holds a BA in Psychology (University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada) and an MBA (Cambridge University). He delivers the “Managing Money Worry and Stress” webinar sessions for employee groups of all sizes as part of the MoneyFit+ offering. When not working, Marco’s time revolves around his young family – usually rocking out with his three daughters but also, on occasion, ideally grabbing a moment of peace with a strong espresso, and a good read like The Economist.
